1. Definitions
“Site” means the pages published at realcanadainvest.com. “We” means the educational project Real Canada Invest. “Material” means the text, diagrams, and interface on the site. “You” means the person reading or writing to the site. A “console”, “station”, or “queue” is a way of organising the material. None of those words describes a trading system, an account, or an order.
2. Educational nature
The site is a market-literacy resource. It explains startup funding language, market structure, categories of financial instruments, and the limits of AI-assisted reading. It is not financial advice, a solicitation, a trading signal, or a call to buy, sell, or invest. It is not a course that qualifies you as a professional investor or trader. Nothing on the site is a promise of profit, a forecast, or a personal recommendation.
We do not operate a brokerage, an exchange, a portfolio service, or an investment platform. We do not open accounts and we do not handle client assets.
3. Acceptable use
You may read the material for your own learning. You may not use the site to break the law, to probe or disrupt the service, to scrape it in a way that degrades access for others, or to present the material as personal advice from us. You may not submit unlawful, abusive, or misleading content through the contact form.
4. Intellectual property
The text, diagrams, and interface arrangement are owned by the project unless a passage says otherwise. You may quote a short passage with a link to the page for study or criticism. You may not copy the site into another product, and you may not remove the educational framing and republish a passage as if it were advice. Public documents we describe remain the property of their authors and publishers.
5. Business model
Educational content is provided free of charge. The project’s revenue model is advertising and educational content. We do not sell financial products. We do not receive commissions for recommending investment products. This deployment of the site does not run third-party advertising scripts. Using the site does not create an advisory, brokerage, or fiduciary relationship.
6. Liability
The material is provided as an explanation of public concepts, without a warranty of completeness or fitness for a particular decision. To the extent Canadian law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make after reading the site, for losses connected with markets, or for interruptions in access. Some liability cannot be excluded by law, including liability that a statute does not allow a contract to waive. Those limits remain in force.
7. Risk
All investments carry risks, including loss of capital. The site does not tell you to take a risk or to avoid one. Market prices, issuers, and rules change. A description that was accurate when a note was added can be overtaken by a later public document. Past behaviour of a market is not a guide to future results. Read the disclaimer for the categories of risk we name.
8. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Courts in Ontario have jurisdiction over disputes arising from use of the site, without limiting any right a consumer-protection statute gives you to bring a claim elsewhere.
